The Werewolves of Millers Hollow card game is great for a big party as it’s for between 8-20 players. We find it great with teenagers who can get into the characters easily. The storyteller can really add to the atmosphere of the game and bring it to a spooky level. Great for round a campfire or a trip as there is no big board or set up time. This game can be played anywhere and can be highly addictive.

The game is quick and easy to set up. The rules are really easy to pick up and play. In terms of a family card game or a party card game it is great for both. You can pick on other players and start a great banter by stealing cards from them. Or you can plant the Exploding Kittens card for them to get. It is designed for two to five players, we find it best with around three or four players. The back of the box describes the game as “highly strategic kitty power version of Russian roulette”.

Splendor is a quick thirty minute game that is great for two to four players. Although some people think of it as Splendor board game, it is a card game where players play to win the most points. Players take on the roles of merchants working to turn raw gems into precious jewels. This earns the attention of wealthy nobles. The object of the game is to pick up tokens that help you buy development cards. These development cards then help attract nobles who bring prestige points. Also you can buy better development cards that give you prestige points. You need to have fifteen points or more to win the game.

Uno is a great family game. It’s fun, fast and easy. Although the pack says from 7+ we have found younger children can enjoy it too. There is also a junior version which is 3+ if you want to start there. It’s fantastic for travelling, a must for the suitcase. It’s easy for new players to pick up and veteran players to enjoy. A true classic which we still enjoy year after year.
